CD Review: Frances - Things I've Never Said (Cookie Records)

Strikingly listenable, Frances’ Things I’ve Never Said is a debut album to be proud of by many measures.

From the startling, vocal only opening on Don’t Worry About Me, via the airy pop of Love Me Again to the uplifting No Matter, Frances voice contrasts light and shade with original material from start to finish.

There are many tracks here that will no doubt become firm favourites among listeners and equally it will be exciting to hear them performed live, an artist couldn’t wish for a better beginning.
