Welsh singer /songwriter Martyn Joseph has been nominated in the ‘Hardest Working Artist’ category at this years AIM Music Awards.
Joseph has played over 140 shows and festivals across the UK, Canada, USA and Europe in the last 12 months, as well as continuing work on the Let Yourself Trust, a not-for-profit UK charity which has been supporting grassroots projects both home and abroad. He has also set up the festival Pipefest, which is now in its 9th year and will take place on September 17 at Lancaster University Chaplaincy Centre:
Joseph’s last album ‘Sanctuary’ was released in October 2015 to great acclaim and marked his twenty first studio release in a prolific career spanning four decades. In April, he also recorded an acoustic version of the album along with producing a live CD of tracks from his Autumn tour. He recently completed a further 18 date UK tour hot on the heels of returning from a 6 week tour of USA and Canada.
The AIM Music Awards will take place at The Brewery, Clerkenwell on September 6.
