Following the release of her new album Impossible Dream, singer/songwriter Haley Bonar is embarking on a UK tour.
Bonar was invited to join the band Low on tour after Alan Sparhawk of the band spotted her at a local open mic club in Duluth, Minnesota. In the decade since she has released a succession of recordings. Her latest album, Impossible Dream bends scuzzy 80s indie, new wave angularity and Spector-ish reverb. “Each song is a short story, a self-contained world which all add up to whole,” She recently told Andy Howells.
For the forthcoming tour Bonar will be playing songs from the new album with her new band with whom she’ll play Bristol’s Louisiana on October 28.
