Recycle And Make Noise At Free Gigs

Make Noise features prominently in South Wales this weekend with a date in Newport tomorrow and two further events in Cardiff with Swn Festival on Saturday and Sunday.  The tour features Heavenly Recordings very own Stealing Sheep and R.Seiliog.

The Make Noise manifesto programmes cutting edge electronic music events and makes entry 100% FREE in exchange for a piece of electrical recycling. Party goers just need to bring something to hand at the door; a broken mobile phone, hairdryer or laptop – anything with a plug or a battery! Since it began, Make Noise has packed out venues all-round the UK and recycled tonnes of electronic waste.

All the events are due to a local authority regional WEEE recycling contract that ERP UK deliver for nine Welsh local authorities. The contract is part of a collaborative arrangement under the South Wales Waste Management Group co-ordinated by Resource Efficiency Wales Ltd.

The Newport make Noise event takes place at Le Pub on Friday October 21 (www.lepub.co.uk for details), Saturday October 22 – Gwdihw Café Bar, Cardiff, Sunday October 23 – O’Neill’s, Cardiff, both Cardiff events are part of Swn Festival (visit http://www.swnfestival.com for details).
