CLASSICAL BRIT award winners Only Men Aloud return to St David’s Hall for their annual homecoming Christmas concert this Saturday tonight at 7.30pm.
One of the most anticipated in the Christmas calendar, and the vocal ensemble will perform a whole selection box of festive favourites, rock hits and pop classics.
Since winning the BBC’s Last Choir Standing in 2008, Only Men Aloud have embarked on some incredible experiences from scooping a Classical BRIT Album of the Year Award for Band of Brothers in 2010 to performing at the 2012 Olympics Games Opening Ceremony.
Only Men Aloud singer Craig Yates said: “OMA have been as busy as ever in 2016, performing at the Severn Bridge for BBC Music Day, and opening up BBC’s televised Sport Relief event. We always look forward to playing our annual festive shows, and audiences are guaranteed another glittering performance, sprinkled with some added surprises.”
Joining the grown-ups as support for the evening is Only Kids Aloud – the celebrated choir of 8-13 year-olds. Already the talented group have performed with Bryn Terfel, starred in a CBeebies panto and sung Mahler with the iconic conductor Valery Gergiev in St Petersburg.
