Blogger Molly Gunn, who created the Selfish Mother brand and the #GoodTees initiative, has worked on the silly slogan sweatshirt designs with models including Poppy Delevingne, David Gandy, Jon Kortajarena, Karen Elson, Laura Bailey, Erin O’Connor and Immy Waterhouse.

“I’m excited to be supporting Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day!” says Molly, “I’ve always admired the incredible work the charity does both in the UK and around the world. Whether the sweatshirts are a treat or a secret-santa gift for a loved one, I hope people enjoy wearing the sweatshirts this Christmas and feel good knowing they’re contributing towards giving children the best chance in life.”

,“We are delighted to have Molly Gunn of Selfish Mother on board along with inspiring models Karen, Laura and Immy who have all worked together to create these fun, slogan designs,” says Helena Wiltshire Head of PR at Save the Children. “Money raised from the sale of the sweaters could help Save the Children give children living in a refugee camp clothes to keep them warm through winter or buy nutritious food for their entire family. It could also help us to bring essentials like healthcare, education, protection and food to the millions of children around the world who are missing out on the most basic support. All this, just by wearing a sweater – it’s a very silly way to solve some very serious problems!”

The limited edition collection, available to purchase exclusively at Selfish Mother’s online store, ‘The FMLY Store’ is available to McArthurGlen customers through an ‘honesty box’ donation for one day at each of its six centres, housed in a new pop-up retail concept: The McArthurGlen Truck. Purchased by McArthurGlen the classic six-wheel American truck has been redesigned and given a complete overhaul to support this exciting project.

As McArthurGlen has purchased the jumpers and made a donation to Save the Children, 100% of all proceeds from additional public donations will go directly to Save the Children to help vulnerable children in the UK and across the world this Christmas.

Those who can’t make it to a centre can also sign up at christmasjumperday.org, stick on a seasonal sweater and donate £2 to Save the Children, helping the charity do whatever it takes to make sure the world’s forgotten children get the chance to have a brighter future. Any shoppers who wear a Christmas jumper or buy theirs in centre and donate £2 will be given a 10% VIP card to use throughout the centre.
