The Russian State Ballet & Orchestra of Siberia return to St David’s Hall over the festive season with three classical ballets for all the family.
The series begins with three enchanting performances of La Fille Mal Gardée (from December 20-21), which is a gentle and comic tale of love thwarted, unrequited and found. Filled with ribbons, rivalry and romance, this ballet is sure to delight young and old.
Audiences then have a chance to be swept off to a mysterious place where nothing is really as it seems in The Nutcracker (December 22-28) as toys spring to life, and the treacherous Mouse King battles the handsome Nutcracker Prince.

The series concludes with the greatest romantic ballet of all time, Swan Lake (December 29 – January 2), which features Tchaikovsky’s haunting score. From the majesty of the palace ballroom to the moonlit lake where swans glide in perfect formation, this compelling tale of tragic romance has it all.
