Dreamboats and Petticoats – The Musical comes to Cardiff’s New Theatre from February 13 –18.
Inspired by the smash hit multi-million selling Dreamboats and Petticoats album series, the much-loved musical features some of the greatest songs of the Rock ‘n’ Roll era.
The story, set in 1961, follows young musicians Norman and Bobby who compete to win both a national song writing competition and the affections of the gorgeous Sue. But love and rock ‘n’ roll fame beckons when Bobby also discovers that shy Laura is no slouch on the piano.
Songs in the show include Let’s Dance, Shakin’ All Over, Bobby’s Girl, Little Town Flirt, Only Sixteen, Runaround Sue, C’Mon Everybody and many more.
