Border Country in Words and Pictures Looks At Raymond Williams Work

The exhibition, Ffiniau – Borders, Four Welsh Artists in Raymond Williams’ Border Country, originally created for the 2016 National Eisteddfod held at Abergavenny is currently on show at Chepstow Museum until February 26.

A talk relating to the exhibition, ‘Border Country in Words and Pictures’, will be led by the exhibition curator Dr Peter Wakelin on February 18 at Chepstow’s Drill Hall. Joining him will be Raymond Williams biographer Professor Dai Smith, and one of the exhibition’s featured artists, Charles Burton.

Copies of Raymond Williams’ Border Country as well as Dai Smith’s biography will be available at the event which starts at The Drill Hall at 2pm. The talk will be followed by an opportunity to view the exhibition at the Museum. Tickets are currently available from Chepstow Museum.
