CD Review: Sheryl Crow – Be Myself

Be Myself is Sheryl Crow’s tenth official album since 1993’s Tuesday Night Music Club. Here, the American singer/songwriter is reunited with guitarist Jeff Trott and sees a return to the folk rock style that made her a chart mainstay in the 1990s.

The album kicks off with the upbeat rock of Alone In The Dark , pairing Crow’s raucous folky vocals with edgy guitar riffs and continues to flow with upbeat rock of Heartbeat Away and the breezy Beatle-esque pop of Rest of Me.

Be Myself certainly stands up with Crow’s best material and fans old and new won’t be disappointed.
