To coincide with the 50th anniversary of his first solo album, all of Van Morrison’s recordings for Bang Records have been released across 3 CD’s for The Authorized Bang Collection.
While the album Blowin’ Your Mind and The Best of Van Morrison are featured in their entirety there are several remixes of Brown Eyed Girl and Ro Ro Rosey to enjoy.
For completists, the release also includes a Contractual Obligation Session which documents the end of Morrison’s relationship with Bang Record label.
A great overview of Morrison’s early solo years and an ideal companion to The Complete Them which documents his earlier 60s work with Them.
