A major tour of a Spice Girls themed theatre show is coming to Newport’s Neon this autumn.
The Spice Girls became an overnight sensation when their debut single Wannabe also became their first number one and subsequently topped the charts in 37 countries selling over 6 million copies Worldwide. In 1996. The Spice Girls and their ‘girl power’ defined a generation, becoming pop icons for many children, teenagers and adults at the time.
The show, Wannabe has been building its success for a decade, travelling the World and performing all the power group’s biggest hits including Viva Forever, 2 Become 1, Who Do You Think You Are as well as a medley of solo hits.
Scary, Posh, Ginger, Baby & Sporty Spice will close their autumn tour at Newport Neon on November 25.
