Combining blues, country and folk music, singer/songwriter Sunjay will play Barry’s West End Club on June 16. From early childhood steps Sunjay has grown up in public, having performed regularly to ever increasing audiences from the age of seven.
Now, still only in his mid-twenties, Sunjay has become a master guitarist, who has crafted his show to perfection encompassing an encyclopaedic knowledge of his music, and a wicked sense of humour.
Most recently Sunjay has been playing the lead role of Buddy Holly, in Simon Fielder’s travelling theatre show of Buddy Holly &The Cricketers, a role he was offered when he went for an audition in London for a backing singer and guitarist. He continues to play his regular gigs in between the theatre shows.
