Welsh singing star Sir Tom Jones has become the first music act to appear twice at Kingsholm Stadium.

The singing legend performed a mixture of classic hits, blues and gospel covers earlier this evening, including John Lee Hooker’s Burning Hell, a stripped back version of Sex Bomb and his classic 1968 hit Delilah which had the 10,000-crowd singing along.

Sir Tom’s set closed with a tribute to Prince as he performed a rendition of Kiss, the song that helped relaunch Sir Tom’s chart success back in the 1980s and a boogie-woogie rendition of Strange Things Happening Every Day.
