How did you first start out in music?

Same as anyone. Just playing in bad ska bands with a bunch of other nerds.

Who or what has inspired you most on your musical journey?

Operation Ivy were a big inspiration early on.

Can you give us some background on your new album Cody?

It’s our fourth and longest record to date. It was produced by Rob Schnapf and features stellar backing vocals from Nate Ruess and Phoebe Bridgers.

Are you looking forward to the UK tour?

Not at the moment as I am current on tour in New Zealand. I’m am look forward to going home but once I’m there I will be excited to get back on the road.

What can people expect from your forthcoming Bristol gig?

Who can say? Hopefully a fun sweaty show.

What are you enjoying listening to presently?

Songs Ohia.

What else have you got planned for the rest of the year?

Not much. Might start writing a new album or might just play video games for a while.
