As part of St David’s Hall’s Welsh Proms season, The Tiddly Prom continues daily until July 29, with Bert, Cherry and all their melodic friends returning to the Lefel 1 stage for fun-filled performances of a show that will delight parents and children alike.
Entitled Bert’s Magical Musical Farmyard, the interactive and accessible concert for under 5s sees Bert getting into a spot of bother when his tractor gets stuck in a muddy ditch with the rain coming down hard. Even with all his friends helping him, he still cannot get out of the slippy, slidey hole! Perhaps the magic of music can help them?
This musical performance is not only lots of fun but is also educational as it teaches listening skills, problem solving and team working whilst introducing orchestral instruments to tiny tots.
Bert’s Magical Musical Farmyard has been specially designed by Arts Active and is a great opportunity for young children to experience music interactively with professional musicians in a creative and fun environment. Scored for clarinet, double bass, trumpet and percussion, the shows feature professional musicians engaging with children in an entertaining environment.
