Bands and fans from across the UK will be gathering at the Dolls House, Abertillery for two weekends of rock and punk music in the coming weeks, with all proceeds in aid of the Velindre Cancer Centre Stepping Stones Appeal. Both events are organised by the local Rock & Roll Circus team.
First up is Dollfest 4, taking place from September 29 to October 1, with over twenty bands taking part. These include Scotland’s The King Lot, and Caldicot’s Pizzatramp, who recently took the Rebellion punk festival in Blackpool by storm. All three days are free entry, with voluntary donations going to Stepping Stones.
This will be followed by the Rock & Roll Circus Charity Christmas Bash IV, on December 8 and 9.
Tickets for Saturday, which cost £7, can be bought online via the events Facebook page and at Spillers Music Store, Cardiff. Friday night is £3, payable on the door.
