Industrial rock sensation Marilyn Manson will play Newport Centre on December 8 as the penultimate date of his 2017 UK tour.
The American singer/songwriter will release his new album, Heaven Upside Down on October 6. Consisting of ten tracks, the album was recorded in Los Angeles and create a cinematic sonic palate that harkens back to the ferocity of seminal Manson albums Portrait of an American Family and Holy Wood.
On the new album, he reunites with producer and film composer Tyler Bates following an epic collaboration on Manson’s critically acclaimed 2015 release The Pale Emperor.
Manson’s sensationalist music and art that rejects conservative values created an icon who has infiltrated fashion, television, film and music, and whose fingerprints coat modern culture. Over 20 years into his career, Manson is still a lightning rod of controversy and the pageantry and debauchery of his life are perfectly intact.
Further dates of Marilyn Manson’s UK tour are Manchester’s 02 Apollo (Dec 4), Glasgow 02 academy (Dec 5), Wolverhampton Civic Hall (Dec 6) and London’s Wembley Arena (Dec 9).
