“We were blown away by the level of talent on show at The Riverfront in the panto auditions,” said Gillian Mitchell, Head of Theatre, Arts & Culture for Newport. “As always Newport and the surrounding areas have tons of talent and we love being able to include local young people in our professional pantomime. “

Colin Blumeneau, Director and Producer for the Production Exchange added “This year we had a huge number of young people try out for the show and the standard was incredibly high. It made for some tough decisions, but we are incredibly happy with the 16 that made the final cut.”

Produced in collaboration with The Production Exchange, and starring Richard Elis, Liam Tobin, Aladdin will run from Tuesday December 5 2017 to Sunday January 7 2018.
