A public work-out featuring World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua MBE will take place at Cardiff’s St David’s Hall on Wednesday October 25.
Joshua is set to square off against Carlos Takam in front of 75,000 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on Saturday October 28, but now fans can get a first glimpse of these warriors of the ring in this special event at the National Concert Hall of Wales.
The public workout is unticketed, but public access will be limited to the upper tiers of the auditorium only on a first come, first served basis. Fans will be granted admittance to the Hall from 5.30pm with the first work-out starting at 6pm.
Before the main event stars will go through their workouts, there’s top talents on the undercard that will showcase their skills. Kal Yafai defends his WBA World Super-Flyweight title against Japanese mandatory challenger Sho Ishida, whilst Katie Taylor faces WBA Lightweight champion Anahi Esther Sanchez in her first world title fight.
Plus, Joshua’s old foe Dillian Whyte can take a huge step closer to world title action when he battles Robert Helenius for the WBC Silver strap.
More of the undercard fighters will also appear at St David’s Hall before the main event – Anthony Joshua!
Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. No large bags will be allowed as entry is subject to security procedures and bag searches. No early entrance to the venue before 5.30pm, and re-entry is prohibited. No further people will be granted admittance once the upper tiers in the auditorium are at capacity.
