Andy Howells recently caught up with five presenters to find out about their work on VCS Radio Cardiff, their programmes (of which you can hear a podcast in each instance by clicking on the interview links) and each presenters favourite Christmas traditions.

Ceri Stennett
Ceri Stennett who presents the Tuesday morning Radio Cardiff magazine programme, Come on In, between 9am -11am and revealed to us that if he could interview anybody living or dead, it would be comedy icon, Groucho Marx of The Marx Brothers.
“I loved watching their old movies from the 1930’s & 40’s,” says Ceri, “If I could ask him anything it would be about his life with his brothers (Chico & Harpo) on the road in the USA when they were touring with their Vaudeville act in the 1920’s”

Donna Sibanda
Donna Sibanda AKA Donna Heart and Soul presents The Heart and Soul Show every Sunday evening on Radio Cardiff at 9pm. Donna loves Christmas music and like the sounds she plays on her show, it features some Heart and Soul too. Mariah Carey’s All I want For Christmas Is You been a favourite.
“Lots of memories of dancing and singing to it at every single Christmas party. I also know all the lyrics!!” reveals Donna.

Jeremy Rees
Presenter Jeremy Rees lends his magnificent radio vocal tones to several Radio Cardiff shows, including Sweet Company (Sunday evening’s. 10pm) (of which he co-hosts with Rachel Lewis) and The Soul of The Blues (Wednesday evenings, 10pm) . Jeremy is also busy hosting Soul Of The City over Christmas week.
“Radio has always been a passion of mine, for as long as I can remember! says Jeremy, “I was volunteering for hospital radio when still at school, and to give you an idea how long ago that was the all the desks had inkwells…”

Humie Webbe presents The Jazz Train on Radio Cardiff every Sunday morning from 10-11am recalled her best experience since joining Radio Cardiff.
“Exploring the music and getting to share my love of jazz with the listeners through Black History Month where I focus on jazz and its links to the civil rights movement,” says Humie

Emily Williams
Finally, Emily Williams presents Temple Vibes every Thursday morning between 9am and 11am and told us her wish for 2018.
“To become a millionaire and put pressure on those in power to make a positive contribution where they can,” says Emily, “money ALWAYS talks!”
