Welsh Mini-Tour For Grav Before Stateside Dates

The Torch Theatre Company’s award winning show, Grav, about the rugby legend and Welsh national hero Ray Gravell, returns to the stage next month, performing at selected venues across Wales prior to visiting New York for two dates in March 2018.

Grav’s Welsh mini-tour concludes with a brief run at Milford Haven’s Torch Theatre on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 March, and due to popular demand, an extra show has now been added.

Written by Owen Thomas, directed by the Torch Theatre’s Artistic Director Peter Doran and performed by Gareth John Bale, the show explores the life of a man who was as compelling away from the rugby field as he was on it.

Grav received outstanding reviews; touring throughout Wales and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015. The show also won a coveted Laurel Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Theatre In Wales Audience Award for Best Play in 2015, and was also nominated for the Holden Street Theatre Award, an Arts & Business Cymru Award and a Canmol Wales Marketing Award.
