Manfreds Star Mike d’Abo Replaces Chris Farlowe on Sensational 60s Show

Legendary Manfred Mann vocalist Mike d’Abo will replace Chris Farlowe on the forthcoming Sensational 60s Experience Tour which comes to South Wales in March.

Chris, who scored hits in the 1960s with Out of Time and Ride on, Baby recently broke his left arm and collar bone and will now be unable to fulfil the required tour schedule. Mike d’Abo, who wrote the classic Handrags and Gladrags, which Chris recorded back in the 1960s, will step in to the fold for the  2017/18 tour

Mike, the former lead singer with Manfred Mann will perform classic hits Ragamuffin Man, Ha Ha Said the Clown, My Name Is Jack and Mighty Quinn, Just like a Woman.

Completing the line-up of The Sensational 60s Experience which comes to St David’s Hall on March 7 and Swansea Grand on March 8 are Mike Pender (original lead singer with The Searchers), Herman’s Hermits (featuring original drummer Barry Whitwam), and current line-ups of  The Fortunes and 60s revivalists, The New Amen Corner.
