American singer songwriter Beth Hart will be touring the UK later this spring, following the success of her sell-out show at London’s Royal Albert Hall last year.
Hart achieved fame with the release of her 1999 single “LA Song (Out of This Town)” from her album Screamin’ for My Supper. Her latest solo studio album, Fire On The Floor, was released in October 2016.
Frequently busy, Hart is also known for her collaborations with blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa, the albums Seesaw and Live In Amsterdam, both reached the Billboard Blues charts while their latest release, Black Coffee, is also getting critical acclaim.
Beth reveals that only a few cuts from Black Coffee will likely make her UK shows..
“I usually like to play different stuff from different records and try to cover all the records if I can,” she says, “ I don’t know how much stuff from the latest Joe record I will be playing because there is a lot of horns, background singers and a lot of stuff that we didn’t have on our first two records and I can’t really pull that off with my band.
“There might be a few things we do but I don’t think it will be more than three songs, who knows that could change,.”
