Fidelio Trio Hooked On Classics In Abergavenny

The Fidelio Trio will present a classical themed evening of Haydn, Schubert and Chausson  at the Borough Theatre Abergavenny on Wednesday 14 March at 7:30pm.

Featuring Darragh Morgan on the violin, Adi Tal playing cello and pianist Mary Dullea, The Fidelio Trio were shortlisted for the 2016 Royal Philharmonic Society Music Awards, have broadcast regularly on BBC Radio 3, RTÉ Lyric FM, WNYC, NPR and featured on Sky Arts documentaries.

The trio have performed in many prestigious venues including London’s Southbank Centre, Wigmore Hall and Kings Place and at festivals from Brighton and Cheltenham to St. Magnus and from Gregynog to Huddersfield. They regularly perform across the Irish Sea at National Concert Hall, Dublin, Kilkenny Festival and Belfast Festival at Queens and overseas in Shanghai, Porto, Paris, Venice & Florence, Johannesburg, New York City, Princeton, San Francisco and Boston.

The recital at the Borough Theatre will include the following pieces:

  • HAYDN  Trio in G minor Hob.XV:19   
  • SCHUBERT Trio in B flat D.898
  • CHAUSSON – Piano Trio in G minor
