Following the huge success of Owen Money’s Jukebox Heroes in 2016, Owen Money is back at The Met in Abertillery with another talent packed live show featuring the music of his popular weekend radio shows on BBC Wales; and of course his unique style of comedy and Welsh wit.
Joining Owen on stage is his band The Travelling Wrinklies, who will accompany the four featured icons of the 60’s and 70’s to bring the music and passion of their musical heroes to life.
The evening will start with Sammi Broad as the unforgettable Karen Carpenter, David Rhys–Morris then plays tribute to the legend that is Neil Sedaka. The powerful and distinctive voice of Frankie Valli will be wonderfully portrayed by Alex John and with a little help, the sounds of the ‘Four Seasons’ are not forgotten. Finally, the sensational Li Harding will take to the stage as the one and only Dame Shirley Bassey, and will undoubtedly ‘get this party started!’
