Dionne Warwick Brings UK Tour To Cardiff’s St David’s Hall

Soul and pop legend, Dionne Warwick will be bringing her 2018 tour Don’t Make Me Over  to Cardiff’s St David’s Hall this October.

A music icon of our time, Dionne Warwick has recorded some of the most beautifully written classics over the past 5 decades including Walk On By, Any One Who Had A Heart, Do You Know The Way To San Jose, Don’t Make Me Over and Heartbreaker.

Working with Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Warwick ranks amongst one of the biggest hit makers of the pop era and is one of most charted female singers of all time, with over 56 hits to her name.

Hailing from New Jersey, her rise to fame saw her foundations in gospel, first getting noticed singing backing vocals for The Drifters. In 1962 her first solo single Don’t Make Me Over launched her career and marked her as a musician of the highest calibre. Two years later, Walk on By firmly established Dionne’s musical heritage, with 5 Grammy’s to follow and a lifetime of musical achievements.

More recently Dionne has been recording a new album produced by Phil Ramone, featuring new material from her long-time friend, icon and composer Burt Bacharach. Her live show is hit after hit of sheer joy and brilliance. Scintillating, soothing and sensual, for 50 years, Dionne’s voice has remained a cornerstone of pop music and culture.
