Dubliners Celebrated With Seven Drunken Nights In Cardiff

SEVEN DRUNKEN NIGHTS will celebrate he music of Ireland’s favourite sons The Dubliners, at Cardiff’s St David’s Hall on Friday 7 September!

Direct from the West End, the show tells the story of a career spanning 50 years and evoking the spirit of Ronnie Drew, Luke Kelly, Barney McKenna, Jim McCann, Ciaran Bourke and John Sheahan. A hugely talented cast of musicians onstage will have you singing and clapping along to classics like The Irish Rover, Molly Malone, Finnegan’s Wake, McAlpine’s Fusiliers, Raglan Road and many more.

The band also performs the titular song Seven Drunken Nights, which was deemed so controversial upon release in 1967 that it was banned by Irish radio. This infamy catapulted them into global success and turned the Irish folk band into legends – the rest is history!
