Scots Rockers, The Amorettes, who recently enjoyed UK Top 40 success with their new album, Born To Break, will bring their headline tour to Clwb Ifor Bach on November 27.
The 12 date tour which begins in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne on November 21 and concludes in Glasgow on December 4 will be the girls first headline tour and fulfils a strong desire for The Amorettes to get out on the road.
Singer, Gill Montgomery says “We were on hold for a couple of fantastic support tours across the UK and Europe, which unfortunately didn’t come together. However, rather than wait until 2019, we really wanted to get out on the road again.”
The UK dates run straight into the band’s headline slot at Sheffield’s Winter Rocks Festival, alongside Skindred, Wayward Sons, and Stone Broken, amongst others, and are rounded out by their final dates of the year in support of the Legendary, The Wildhearts.
“Because our fans have been asking for a headline tour, we felt that it would be unfair to hold off until 2019.”, continues Montgomery. “So, although this is quite short notice, we’re really excited to get back out and play live. “
!We’ve had such a great reception to Born To Break, and it’s all down to our fans for buying the album, and coming out to support us when we play live. We really hope to see all of you at the shows, and we promise that these shows will be very special indeed.”
