Entertainment South Wales have launched their first ever podcast featuring interviews with Welsh singer/songwriter Andy Fairweather Low and World of Sport wrestler, Justin Sysum.
Through interviews and music, The Ents South Wales Audio Supplement hopes to spotlight music, theatre and events on the entertainment scene in South wales be they feature home-grown talent or visiting shows to the area.
“it’s a way of giving a bit more depth to some stories,” says entertainments writer Andy Howells who presents the podcast. “Over the last decade I’ve found myself in a privileged position to speak to many people involved with some great shows.”
“it will be interesting to bring people closer to my experience, so that they can hear stars, musicians and creatives describe their careers in their own words.”
The first podcast featuring an interview with Andy Fairweather Low as well as chat with World of Sport Wrestler Justin Sysum and 80s pop icon, Howard Jones appeared on Mixcloud on November 25.
Future shows will include interviews with Katie Ashby of The D-Day Darlings, David Bowie drummer Woody Woodmansey and singer/songwriter Paul Carrack.
