Classical Programme From Llŷr Williams In Abergavenny

One of Britain’s most distinguished pianists, Llŷr Williams returns to Abergavenny’s Borough Theatre with a classical piano recital on Thursday 17 January at 7.30pm.

Welsh pianist Llyr Williams is widely admired for his profound musical intelligence and for the expressive and communicative nature of his interpretations.

He has worked with all the major UK orchestras – including the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, London Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, the Halle Orchestra as well as orchestras around the world. 

He also regularly appears at the BBC Proms and the Wigmore Hall and has given many remarkable performances at the Edinburgh International Festival, including acclaimed performances of Beethoven piano sonatas.

The recital at the Borough Theatre will include the following pieces:
