Holiday Fun, Newport Live’s programme summer activities, is jam packed with activities for children aged 0 – 16 years inspiring them to be happier and healthier this summer.
Newport Live are delivering a range of sports and arts activities throughout the summer holidays for 0 – 16-year olds. From free swimming to tots rugby, Minecraft to Sport & Art camp, film club to junior gym. Newport Live has something for everybody. Activities take place across Newport Live venues including The Riverfront Theatre, Newport Centre, Bettws Active Living Centre and at Newport International Sports Village.
A new addition to their summer programme is Rookie Fitness Instructor. A 2-day programme designed for 14 – 16-year olds to increase their practical exercise skills and nutritional knowledge. Priced at £15 for Junior members and £45 for non-members which includes 6 weeks free Junior membership access.
Sport & Art Camps for 5 – 14-year olds will also be running for the whole six weeks of the summer holidays from 8am – 5.30pm and includes free breakfast. Week commencing 5th August, Newport Live will, for the first time, be delivering cycling proficiency taught to National Standards and fully accredited. Sport & Art Camps costs £27.50 a day, £125 a week per child.
