On Saturday 6th June next year, singer James Arthur will be headlining a very special gig at Chepstow Racecourse.
Proving that you don’t have to be a Queen fan to enjoy “a day at the races” and great music simultaneously, this unique show will invite audiences to enjoy an entire day of racing at one of the UK’s most prestigious arenas, with the added bonus of a full James Arthur set late into the evening.
A dead-cert winner is what everyone is after at the races, so who better than James Arthur to have as your lucky charm this Summer. Proving he truly had ‘The X Factor’ in 2012, Arthur beat off stiff competition to win the talent contest by a nose. He has now become one of the show’s biggest success stories. Releasing debut single “Impossible”, the track went straight in at UK No.1 spot and has since sold 1.4 million copies in the UK alone, making it the bestselling winner’s single since the show began.
Since then Arthur has surpassed over 1 billion streams and 25 million record sales worldwide, with his Say You Won’t Let Go single totting up more than 10 million copies worldwide. In addition, James’ album Back from The Edge went straight to No.1 in the UK charts and has now gone multi-platinum worldwide. A true champion, as well as reaching musical milestones, Arthur has also been nominated for two BRIT Awards and an American Music Award for ‘Best New Artist’.
An artist who doesn’t sit still for long, Arthur has had a busy 2019 too.
