Undoubtedly 2019 was an exciting year for drama presentations from Wales theatre companies. Welsh actor, Rhys Ifans led a star-studded cast in Ed Thomas post-apocalyptic play On Bear Ridge from National Theatre Wales.
Theatr Clwyd also premiered Emily White’s dark comedy, Pavilion while Black Rat Productions and Lighthouse Theatre toured Wales with new interpretations of classics Art and It’s a Wonderful Life respectively.
On a grassroots level, theatregoers to Newport’s Dolman Theatre were treat to an epic production of Death of A Salesman. Five great examples of theatre drama – made in Wales!
