Performances For Lockdown: Alan Bennett Coronavirus Diary By Alex Wilson

In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, Entertainment South Wales is all too aware of the frustration and sadness caused while we remain in lockdown and isolation.

We felt during this period we would like to turn over our YouTube channel to local performers from the professional and amateur mediums, not only to encourage them but also bring a smile to the faces of people who enjoy watching them perform.

All we ask is if you watch the video and enjoy it, share it on your social media channels and support the artist in any way you can by encouraging or even buying a ticket to their next show!

Today’s Performance For Lockdown features the talents of writer, actor and producer Alex Wilson presenting his own marvelous insight into Alan Bennett’s Coronavirus Diary.

Alex is a producer of Cardiff-based company, Red Herring Theatre and has been hard at work as cast and creative on and off the stage over the last decade including appearances in Fawlty Towers, Lady In The Van, Frost/Nixon (for Newport Playgoers) and recently co-producing Red Herring Theatre’s successful BlackAdder III . Red Herring were about to tread the boards once again with their presentation of Clue, when Pandemic restrictions hit! Clue will now take to the stage later this year – check out www.redherringtheatre.co.uk for further details.
