Original drummer of 1960s chart act, The Tremeloes’ Dave Munden has died aged 76.
Dave, who was born in Dagenham on December 2, 1943, was a founder member of the band, originally fronted by singer, Brian Poole. The Tremeloes hits included Do You Love Me, Twist and Shout, Here Comes My Baby Even the Bad Times Are Good and Silence is Golden.

Dave’s death was confirmed on Thursday October 15 via The Tremeloes Facebook page.
Back in 2012, during a Sensational 60s Experience tour, Dave spoke to Andy Howells of Entertainment South Wales and remembered the chart-making days of The Tremeloes.
Dave recalled, “When we got in the studio, we had a good time, and it came across on all the records. Really that’s what the band is now on stage. We like to have a laugh and get the audience involved!”
