One Night With Marilyn – “A Powerful Play”

With so much going on in her busy schedule, Taryn didn’t have to think twice when looking at the role of the young Marilyn Monroe for the rehearsed read through of One Night with Marilyn at Newport’s Dolman Theatre on November 4.

“Before reading this play, I had no idea who Marilyn Monroe was,” explains Taryn, “So, I had to quickly research it, to see what was involved with the character.

“Being involved with One night with Marilyn has really opened my eyes to the issue of mental health, it is such a powerful play with such a strong message to the audience.   The cast we have are amazingly talented and they have all taken me under their wing and made me feel welcome.

“I really can’t wait to be on the stage at the Dolman again performing with this superb cast.”
