If you you a young person aged 11-25 that would like to get involved in some creative fun this summer, then Cardiff Theatre Company Fio want to hear from you!
Fio create new work that reflects contemporary diverse culture and identity in Welsh arts and are actively supporting the next generation of Global Majority actors and creators.
Fio’s latest project Landing Bolts gives participants the chance to take part in exciting drama, dance, music and creative sessions at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff, why not get in touch now to join? Forthcoming summer sessions will take place Monday – Friday w/c 15 August and w/c 22 August, 10-1pm. Sharing on 26 and 27 August, 10-6pm at Chapter, Cardiff.
Fio are looking for
- People who are interested in creating a new show
- People interested in skateboarding
- People interested in LGBT+ stories
- Are Global Majority (this is the term we use for people who are Black, South Asian, and ethnically diverse)
What to expect?
- You will be part of a fun, exciting creative process, working with professional writers, choreographer, director, and actors.
- You will gain experience in the environment of a professional rehearsal process.
- You will work with director Sita Thomas and a team of exciting creatives.
- Rehearsals will take place at Chapter in Cardiff.
- You will not need to pay any fees and there are travel bursaries available.
