Get Ready For Totally Tina as Tina Turner Show Plays Cardiff’s St David’s Hall

The magic of Tina Turner is set to strut on to the stage of Cardiff’s St David’s Hall this March as Justine Riddoch and a cast of talented performers pay homage to the Rock Queen’s greatest hits.

Totally Tina first debuted in Liverpool and 12 years later, Riddoch is putting in countless hours of hard work to create an accurate recreation of the Queen singer’s live performances. Justine and her cast are backed by a super-talented band and dazzling dancers in sequins, feathers, and diamonds.

This year’s show features a mix of old and new songs, with favourites like Jumping Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Woman, Get Back, and It’s Only Rock and Roll. There are also some of Tina’s greatest hits spanning her career, like Simply the Best, Proud Mary, and Nutbush City Limits. The show is enhanced with Tina Turner’s trademark energy and flair, and there are post-show meet-and-greet opportunities for fans.

Riddoch is a singer who has been in the business for many years. She is known for her enthusiasm and drive, and has a strong crew of people who have helped her create a Tina Turner tribute that is the longest running in the world.

She said: “I am thrilled by the success of this production – we have come so far! Having been told on many occasions that I sounded like Tina, I decided to take the plunge and then spent hours familiarising myself with her life story and scrutinising video footage to watch mannerisms and body movements.

“We always add our own personality to the Show each year; the element of surprise keeps things fresh, but my ultimate aim is to remain faithful to a Tina Turner live concert paying tribute to her career, and bring the best version of this amazing woman; her voice, her passion and even her legs, to her many fans.

“That’s why we love it when people tell us that they go away feeling as though they have seen the real thing.”

Justine added: “We love what we do, and we’re lucky enough to have an incredibly loyal army of fans here and overseas. We look forward to meeting many more new fans this year.”
