Picture Special: Tafwyl 2023, Bute Park, Cardiff (Part 2)

Andy Howells brings more photographic highlights from Tafwyl 2023, rounding up Sunday’s events.

Cardiff’s best free festival, Tafwyl continued Sunday at Cardiff’s Bute Park with the very best in arts, culture and music.

Unlike the previous day, the rain stayed away allowing music fans to enjoy the main stage delights of N’Famady Kouwate, Fleur De Lys, Hana Lili, Sywel Nyw, Lloyd & Dom + Sage Todz, plus headliners Band Pres Llareggub who presented guest appearances from Welsh artists Eadyth and Tara Bandito into their set.

Meanwhile the Big Top played host to artists such as Y Gerddoffa Ukelele, Mali Haf, Brigyn and Mared. There was also chance to catch more up and coming music talent at Yurt T. Around the stages there were opportunities for people to hear readings, join in Q&A’s and for children to participate in arts and crafts as well as support Welsh traders.

Tafwyl 2023 ended at 10pm on Sunday evening, bringing a rather magical celebration of Welsh arts and culture to an end for another year.

Roll on Tafwyl 2024!
