Following a previous sell-out production of Calendar Girls, the Musical, Christchurch Music Society are presenting the roaring comedy ‘9 to 5 The Musical’ from 2nd – 4th November 2023 at Cwmbran’s Congress Theatre.
The society celebrated its 60th anniversary last year and continues to go from strength to strength. Last year’s production was nominated for seven South East District NODA Awards including ‘outstanding production’, winning in two categories: outstanding tech and stage management and outstanding newcomer.

With plenty of laughter, girl power and inevitable hijinks on the agenda, it’s time to clock in. The musical tells the story of three female workmates who are pushed a step too far by their sexist and egotistical boss. There is only one thing for it. With big dreams and even bigger ideals, our girls set in motion a plan to kidnap the boss and reform the office. It’s time to stand up, team up and get down to business! With the tides turning, could things finally go their way?
