Brian Poole and The Tremeloes Join Sixties Legends On Tour

This autumn, the Sixties Gold tour returns to Cardiff’s St David’s Hall with a line-up of artists that, between them, scored over 50 UK Top 30 hits.

Joining Gerry and The Pacemakers (on their final ever tour with frontman Gerry Marsden MBE), The Searchers, Vanity Fare and Steve Ellis of The Love Affair will be Brian Poole and The Tremeloes, featuring Poole along with original members Dave Munden and Chip Hawkes.

Brian Poole and The Tremeloes broke the Liverpool stranglehold on the charts in 1963 with their hits Do You Love Me? And Twist and Shout and went on to have 21 hits that spent over 220 weeks in the UK charts.

Brian Poole remembers performing alongside both The Beatles and Rolling Stones with fondness,  “If I could go back in time I would do exactly the same, ” he tells Andy Howells.
