Flavia To Step Back From Dancing After Tango Moderno

Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace have become one of the UK’s most successful Ballroom, Latin American and Argentine Tango performers and choreographers and are bringing their show, Tango Moderno to Cardiff’’s New Theatre this week.

Tango Moderno is Flavia’s last touring show, at least, for the time being, as she recently revealed in a statement to her fans.

Flavia wrote, “With 6 weeks left of ‘Tango Moderno’ I think it’s the right time to let you all know my plans for the future. After 8 amazing years touring the U.K. with four incredible shows I have decided that ‘Tango Moderno’ will be my last show. I will be taking a step back from the business to dedicate some quality time to life, family and other interests. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our fans who have supported me over the years.”

Vincent and Flavia’s professional titles include UK Professional Ten Dance champions 2002-2006, UK Professional Show Dance Champions 2003-2006, UK Argentine Tango champions 2006, World Argentine Tango Show champions 2005/06, UK Ballroom Champions for several years, World and European Ten Dance, and Show Dance finalists 2002-2006.

Tango Moderno is their most explosive and exuberant show ever. It’s a vibrant and fast-paced production that smoulders with passion and desire – just what audiences have come to expect from the Strictly Come Dancing superstars. Music is performed live on-stage which is shared with 10 other international dancers and West End singers. It’s a suitably hot and intense performance to end on.
